Jonny and Bobby

Dave commissioned me to paint his sons as a gift for his wife: 'On seeing a number of Andrew’s portraits, of people I did not know, I was moved by how much individual character he was able to portray. I commissioned him to draw portraits of my two children, at the time aged 4 and 5, as a 40th birthday present for my wife. Andrew visited twice and spent several hours with our children and he took a number of photos for his reference. The end result is truly wonderful! The pictures are hung on the wall by our attic bedroom staircase, so we enjoy them first thing in the morning and at bed time. Thank you!'
